Monthly Update — August 2021

The APIS
2 min readSep 20, 2021

This is a summary of things going on from the month of August.

First, we’ve been focused on building NFT endpoints for July and August.

We now support both ERC721 and ERC1155.
-Extended SDK support for ERC721 and ERC1155

We started building a distributed NFT widget. You can include it on any website and list it for sale or buy with crypto without getting on the exchange interface implemented using the APIS endpoints.

We will be integrating Circle USDC as a payment wrapper for non-crypto people. In addition, the crypto savings app will be added to a WordPress plug-in we are building with a WordPress guru.

Indexing Binance Smart Chain

Our analytics team has completed incremental load for Binance Smart Chain, fixing some issues caused by the London hard-fork of Ethereum.

-We have an integration engineer working on making the data available in our Postgres and get data refreshed every hour and make queries obtainable on our APIS endpoints.
-We will be working closely with the data team to model everyday use cases and exciting data.

The APIS workforce talent

We have also hired a new Rust engineer to start our Solana roadmap.
There is a plan to hire Front End Engineer (ETA late August) and Blockchain Engineer (ETA late August).

Solana

The goal is to add token support (ERC20 & ERC721 → SPL Token and Metaplex integration on Solana) for the Solana blockchain. In addition, we want to make it chain agnostic to launch any NFT, as simple as selecting Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Solana.

While we continue to push for these changes in NFTs, we will resume our Uniswap support and add Yearn finance support for the crypto savings use case

We are also redesigning the APIS website as well and the developer portal.
