We’re excited to announce that Maximillian Jungreis will join The APIS team as a Strategic Advisor for Community Development and Ecosystem Growth.
Max is a Founding Member of Stanford University’s Future of Digital Currency Initiative and works with Central Banks and global corporations to promote the research, standardization, and adoption of digital currency. Max is particularly focused on domestic and cross-border partnerships between financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and global academic research organizations.
He has a wide range of experiences across the financial technology industry, particularly focused on APAC investment and business strategy, and has overseas working experience in China & Latin America primarily around advising APAC and LATAM multinationals in partnering with startups innovating in the payments space. He also currently sits on the Investment Committee for Predictive VC, a cross border venture capital fund investing into data-driven innovation.
Academically, Max graduated cum laude from The George Washington University with a B.B.A. in International Business and Chinese. In addition to his studies, Max completed a Chinese Fellowship Program at Tsinghua University in Beijing. He is fluent in Mandarin, Spanish, and Portuguese.
